Directions: How to post to the SenecaDGC twitter page

Step 1: You'll need twitter account. Go to www.twitter.com and sign up. It takes two minutes and they only ask for your email address, nothing too personal.

Step 2: Go to your twitter home page and send us an "@Reply". To do this, simply send a tweet to "@senecadgc Then your message." The "@senecadgc" part lets Twitter know you are sending a message to us. Follow that with a space and then type any message you want. Your message then gets re-tweeted on our page and anyone following us will hear it. Think of it like a dynamic chat room.

[Please note: Distribuited twitter accounts are a relatively new concept, most service providers are still in beta stages. Your tweets will likely take around 45 minutes to show up on our page. Hopefully, this will decrease over time as it becomes more popular and additional servers are dedicated to it.]

Step 3: Setup your mobile device in Twitter. This will enable you to send tweets on the go. For example you could be on hole 15 and tweet "@senecadgc just hit a monster ace!" and everyone following our twitter will hear about it! To twitter from your mobile phone, send an SMS text message to the number 40404.

Step 4: Follow us! Make sure you add us to your follow list to receive updates or you can simply visit the senecadg.net homepage or our twitter page.
